Digitally Deceived
About
To the faithful remnant, who hold fast to the unshakeable truths of Scripture in a world increasingly swayed by the shifting sands of technological innovation and secular ideology. May this work serve as a lamp to your feet and a light to your path as you navigate the complexities of this age, discerning the subtle whispers of deception from the clear, unchanging Word of God. May your faith be strengthened, your resolve hardened, and your hope ever fixed on the eternal kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray for your steadfastness in tribulation, your courage in witness, and your unwavering love for the Creator in a time when creation itself seems poised to usurp its Maker. Beloved brethren in Christ, we stand at a precipice. The very fabric of our society is being rewoven by the threads of technological advancement, and the dizzying pace of innovation threatens to outstrip our ability to discern its spiritual implications. As conservative Christians, grounded in the venerable truths of the King James Version of the Bible, we are called to be a people of discernment, to “prove all things” and “hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). This book is born from a deep concern, a pastoral urgency, to awaken the sleeping spiritual senses of the church to the profound dangers that lie hidden within the seductive promises of modern technology. We see echoes of ancient deceptions in the algorithms of our computers, reflections of ancient idolatry in the screens that dominate our lives, and ominous foreshadowing’s of prophetic fulfillment in the integration of man and machine. From the serpent’s whisper in the Garden of Eden to the digital Tower of Babel reaching for the heavens, the adversary’s objective remains unchanged: to usurp God’s authority and alienate humanity from its Creator. He employs new tools, subtler methods, and more pervasive reach, but the essence of the temptation is eternal. This work is not an indictment of technology itself, but a sober warning against its idolatrous worship and its potential to become a tool of profound spiritual deception and control, aligning with the prophetic warnings of scripture concerning the ‘Beast System.’ We endeavor to illuminate how the allure of transhumanism, the convenience of digital connectivity, and the perceived omniscience of artificial intelligence can function as gilded cages for the soul, leading us away from the simple, yet profound, truth found in Christ alone. May this exploration serve as a call to awaken, to re-center our faith on the immutable Word of God, and to stand firm with courage and discernment in these momentous times.
